Default Speedo for Bear Tracker

No, I don't want a bathing suit for it, but I am looking for a speedometer kit that will fit an '01 Bear Tracker. Would a kit for the equivalent sport ATV fit?

For what its gonna cost in time and hassle, youd be better off buying a gps unit and mounting it on the handlebars.
Even the cheapest unit, which can be found in pawn shops for 25 bucks, will do at the minimum, speed, top speed, odometer, and compass..plus gps functions.
A big plus, is that you only need one unit, and just move from quad to quad, as needed. That way if you resell the bear, you can keep the gps and put it on the nextt quad. Or if you have a breakdown, and need to walk out of the woods, just take the gps off and you can find your way out, and mark where the quad was left.
They make handlebar mounts for almost all gps units, and it makes for a clean and easy install. And if you buy a cheapie at the pawn shop, you wont feel bad if it breaks or gets stolen.
My 2 cents...

Good points all, hondabuster. I have a GPS (no handlebar mount) but this is for my wife's quad. Maybe I'll swing by a couple of pawn shops and see what I can find.
