After tonight I have an empty spot in my garage and was thinking of filling it with a YFZ. HOwever I'm concerned that it is going to too small for me. I'm 6-2 and everytime I sit on a YFZ it feels small...like for example, my knees are above the gas tank, not on it. Any taller guys ride one of these and if so is it too small or am I just imagining things?

 

Check my pics and you can tell that i was crowded on it. I am 6'4" so now i have a 700. much better and more comfortable for me.

 

I'm about 6 feet and I love the way I feel on mine. I'm not what u would call a taller guy though.

 

I'm around 6 ft. I put the high pro taper bars on my yfz and it feels mint. plus the new 06' models have the 2 inch higher steering stem.

 

a buddy of mine has an 06 yfz that he keeps in my garage. i experience the same thing when i sit on his bike. compared to my rappy it feels small and almost toyish. it works for him though. if you feel cramped, try out a 700R, you might like it.

BTW - i'm 6'2" as well.

 

ajd, I have taller bars on mine, plenty of room for me but as you know I am only 5'9" The Raptor is defiantely roomier. Have you sat on the new Qracer? Congrats on selling your V, let me know the next time you are going riding.

 

I checked out the new QRacer yesterday. Seems to be about the same size as a YFZ.

I am going to check out an 06 YFZ on Tuesday. It's hardly used and seems like a pretty sweet deal. If all goes as it should I will be out riding a different quad next weekend.
