RAPTOR 660R WTF IS WRONG
I know exactly what's wrong w/ ure quad. It is the E-Brake on the handlebars. On my Raptor, mine was loose and when it opened up a little every now and then, it would start sputtering because the sensor was over-sensative and a 1/8" gap would set mine off. When you put on your emergency brake, try revving it up and tell me! Then when you take it off, try revving it up. if it does not, then Try pushing in the metal block that is attached to your clutch that yamaha calls a brake and then rev it up. If so, try tightening up your E-Brake just enough to stop the sensor from seting off so easily. Hope that works 8^)

Well its pretty easy to check, just hold the ebrake mechanism closed with your hand and check the throttle, or get on the whitebrothers page and check what wires to disconnect fot the ebrake control. Im pretty sure its not a jetting problem, and you can fix this on your own with out giving money to the stealership

...its a yamaha maybe... take off all the yamaha stickers paint it red and throw on some 450r decals, good as new. joking! if its not the e-brake sensor, then clean the carb. my buddy had a problem with the accelerator pump diaphram coming apart and it would die if you opened it up, this was on a yz450. im not sure if the carbs on a 660 work the same way but he had the same symptoms.
