is it running fine currently? sounds like the clutch plates were stuck and they freed themselves, how long was it sitting before you rode it?

If it idles fine but won't take the gas the e-brake switch may be malfunctioning causing the rev limiter to kick in.

yea right now it idles ok... and will allow me to give it a bit of gas but if i give it to much it boggs down and chokes on it self... i havnt done it yet but im shure if i went full throttle on it it would shut off.

same thing that happened to mine im positive its a clogged jet. take of the carb clean it all out and clean out your filter and buy an inline filter . it will run fine after that promise.
EXACT same problem i had a week ago.
you have stuff in the bowl that is getting clogged in the jet.

i am positive you're wrong...

a clogged jet (most likely pilot since it is lowest in the chain) it would fix itself above that...

a parking brake issue wouldn't get better at all... and only allow the rider to go about 1/32 throttle when it is engaged before it wants to engage

Everybody takes that POS parking brake off, just be sure to put a block-off plate on the brake.
