Default Which Quad???

im stuck between kodiak 450, sportsman 450/500 and the brute force 650i. I need a quad with loads of reliability, faster then a Foreman 450 (soo slow), and should have wheelie type preformance. so far im considering the kodiak 450 and the 650i more than the sportsman's. most important thing is reliability, then wheelie type preformance.

foreman 500 is pretty quick, i can shift from 2nd through fifth in a wheelie on ours.

Yer not gonna get wheelies out of a kodiak just by gas`n it stock... It is a very reliable quad though... With the rest of the quads you're comparing to... maybe you should look at a grizzly. Good power, not as heavy as the other big bore quads out there, and the 07's come with power steering and all around disk breaks...

they have both 660 and 700efi grizz this year......prolly need a 660 for the power you want...too expensive to build up other quads to get that kinda performance

i'm not a utility rider, but i have heard waaaaaaaay too many things about reliability issues with any polaris. the brute force and kodiak seem like a pretty broad difference. i would compare the brute force and the grizzly. the kodiak has the irs but wont have the power that you are wanting. now that the 07 yamahas have been released, i'm sure you can find a good deal on a leftover 05 or 06 grizz. good luck

if you want to wheelie you could probobly pull it off on a 450. But as you are only 16 and will eventualy pack on a couple more punds i would suggest the grizz, more power, more capable.
