I currently have a Blaster that is in Mint Condition 100% Stock. For next riding season I am either considering doing a 240 Kit, Pro Circuit Pipe, and Kasea Hydro brakes. I realize that this could cost a lot of money. My other option would be to sell the Blaster for 1800 dollars and get a 250R. There is a place here in NC that builds them and say that I could have a 250R built in Stock configuration for about 3000 dollars. What should I do? My Blaster now is a perfect little bike I only ride trails and weight 200lbs.

The reason I am opting for a 250R over a banshee is because its a single cylinder and I would have to buy two of everything when I decide to mod it.

Go with the R! I dont care what you do to a blaster it still wont have the handeling and power of a R and Plus you can always modify the R done the Rode!

I have a 97 blaster and I love it, But i'm thinking of getting a 250R. They are really good and In the new ATV SPORT They hop up 2 R with differnt set ups. On of the pushes 70. But I cost alot of money like 6 to 10 thousand to make it like the ones in the mag. But 250R's are better all around than a blaster.

you should deffinetly get the 250r because after the mods your blaster will not be as reliable and with the r you will have a more versatile machine from the get-go
