Can it get any worse?

Can it get any worse?
I know it can get worse than this, but this is my story of my worse day riding yet......
Started out riding a new area in Tahuya forest by Howell lake. Not too familiar with the trails, we stayed on the main loop. The trails were treacherous, my Rappy 700 just got beat up on the amount of stumps and roots along this trail. My buddy and I come to a dirt road, instead of following the trail back, we decided to take dirt roads back, well, we ended up getting more lost. While I was tooling along this dirt road (i thought they were closed to traffic), I come up upon a subaru station wagon. I brake hard only to have the loose gravel beneath me give way and turned me sideways into a power slide. Well, my back end ripped the mirror off the poor teenagers car, I flipped my rappy on its side. I was tossed, but survived only minor bumps and bruises. After a quick exchange of info, I looked at my bike. Not too bad, a new cluth lever and a new left headlight and I will be good except for the scratches in my plastics and my ego.
We decide to just go back to the nightmare trail back to our car. I rode my "gimp" bike ahead of my buddy. He follows far behind because of the heavy dust. We come to a fork, I go right and little did I know he went left. I continue to tool down this retarded trail and wham, my right tire hits a damn stump. It hurt, but I was ready to continue, but I couldnt. My right tire was facing about 45 degrees out with my left tire straight. I knew I was in trouble, but my buddy was right behind me, right? Well after inspection of my tie rod, it was at a 90 degree bend. I was like "holy &*it". I took it off using the handy dandy tool kit and proceeded to "try" and bend it right. I finally found a set of stumps I wedged it between and put my 225 pound *** behind it to straighten it. I got it down to about a 10 degree bend which was enough for me to get back. I did rip my hand open bending the rod. I get back, my buddy was waiting there for me. And after spending 150 dollars on a new mirror and 200 dollars in new parts for my bike, I am back in buisness. So much for that trail.
