Default Raptor 660 Jetting?

Aright, I have 2001 raptor 660 and I just bought a yoshimura RS3 slip on exhaust. I also have a K&N filter instaled with the snorkle on the airbox removed. What jet sizes do you guzs think I should start off with.

Aright, I think I will go to the dealer tommorow and get a 147.5/152.5. That should be A good spot to start. Have you tryed changeing the stagering like a 140 and then 150 ? Also should I change the needle position with some spacers? I have both air screws at 3 tuns is that ok? Finaly time to put the pipe on I have been wateing a long time to put it on and jet it because I have be so busy. Also as A side problem, My quad some times has this high idle problem were some times it will high idle and to get the idle back to normal you have to slip the clutch a bit and the idle will go back down. I have adjusted the floats but it still does it. What do you think it could be?

The 01 raptors where lean on the idle circuit so It probably wouldnt hurt to change your pilot jets to 25s from 22.5s.I found 150/160s worked good with a slip on/air box closed and k@n filter.A hair on the rich side but thats okay.

Next time your idle goes crazy on you try choking it and turning it off .Maybe your choke plunger is sticking in the carb.A little wd-40 will do the trick.

How could the choke be sticking when i dont use the choke except for starting it. Also i oiled it when i cleaned the carbs because it was froze. It was pritty torn up maby its leaking a bit of fuel into engine? you say 150/160. I think i will go to the dealer and get 145,147.5,150,152.5,155,157.5,160 and try them all but for that price i can get a jet kit on ebat and it comes with the carb boal screws. I was trying to avoid geting a jet kit but it looks like i am going to have to get one because I dont want to be one of thoes piped raptors I beat because they can not jet

Aight Iput 147.5/152.5 in today and it is running a bit on the lean side when the k&n is in the quad. When I put the stock air filter in it runs ok and I would say its has a few more HP tho nothing amazeing. I will try 150/155 tommorow like I originaly planed.
