I have an 04 YFZ wit a full White Bros. Exhaust and When I ride at night after about 45min-hour the header glows red hot, is this normal?What could be the prob.

 

was it re-jetted for the exhaust? A great place to go for understanding jetting is Yellow Dog Racing. com. they have a very indepth explanation of jetting that is easy to understand. I reciently had a jetting problem and remembered their site from about a year ago and I solved my problem. it sounds like it is running very lean and that is way bad.

It is normal for the YFZ pipe to glow red, even bright red at night. Even for a correctly jetted YFZ. Mine is jetted pretty good and it also glows red (at night anyway).
