When will Grizzlys be available?

Anyone know when yamaha is sending there new Grizzlys to dealers? Ive heard for an extra 69 dollars you can get a warn winch with a 3 year warranty or snow plow. What is the price for a 3 year warranty on the actual machine?

I'd get the 06 instead. Thats what we got. They are having problems with low gear and tranny issues. Watch out for a first year quad. If you decide to get a 07 good luck with it. Give us a full review. This will get you pumped up. Watch the grizz in action.

UPDATE............Good News, got a message on YCN from yamaha canada, problem has been resolved, few minor mods are being made, there will be a few specs changes it said, but full production ready grizzly 700s shipping will start august 14th, 2006. the initial shipment will require the dealer to do the updates, and parts for that will be sent to them, after the initial one, the updates will be done from the factory, and they ended it with saying yamaha is confident the new grizzly 700 will exceed your customers expectations of being the toughest, most off road capable atv on the market. so anways, here come the grizzly's, hope this is some relief for you guys waiting.

That's somewhat vague. Do we know exactly the nature of the problems and the fixes being implemented? Is their any truth to the rumors that there is some problem meeting an emission standard? Do we know exactly what these spec changes they mention are?
As potential Grizzly buyer I'm a little concerned with the vagueness and the lack of information coming about about the problems and the fixes being implemented. That is all information I would want to know before I made a decision about buying one especially being that it is a first year machine.

To the best of my Knowledge: It was rumored that there was a problem with the shifting getting stuck in
Low range, when trying to shift out to High. This was incorrect, the Grizzly shifts out just fine, the problem
lies with the idiot light still showing low range. Supposedly it is a 5 hr fix for dealers and a 2 hr fix for
the experts from Japan. Yamaha has apparently sent a number of tech to fix the problem. Its no biggie,
but Yamaha would rather put the machines out a-ok, rather than have to recall the Grizzlys from buyers
later.
