Can you see this glowing in daylight? It's running lean for sure. Turning out your pilot screw should help. 1/4 turns at a time. The stock setting is 2 turns out so use that as a starting point. See how many turns it takes to re-seat it now and if its less than 2 turns it would be running lean even on a stock motor. Remember not to turn the screw too hard, go easy on it. A quick test, before messing with the carb, would be to run the motor on full choke and see if its any better. The choke over-rides all jetting and adds more fuel. It should only be used as a test though.

i heard that getting a bigger pilot jet would help it, so i got a 45 off the net, also my setting still isnt quite right, along with the orange pipe, my quad bogs a lil from 4th to 6th gear in the 25%-75% throttle range, i know that this is the needle, but i tried all settings and 4th from the bottom is best, also u can only see the orange at night, thats why i dint think much about it, but it gets orange really fast like in 5 min, i thought that this was lean, maybe a 160 jet(runing 157.5 now), but i think that this pilot jet will do it, also i heard that i can put on my airbox lid( mine is removed) and maybe even cut it to even things out?

Did you try what I said? Adjusting the pilot screw? trying the choke? Remember that you don't need to replace your pilot jet unless you can no longer adjust the pilot screw. The pilot screw is under the carb near the motor's intake. Its a FUEL screw so unscrewing it will make it richer. It should be more than 2 full turns out to start with. Does it glow if you just let the bike run at idle? and yes, installing the airbox lid would richen up all the jetting.

Yes, yes i messed with the pilot screw, but i dint go past bout 3 turns, so ill do that agin tomorw night when i can see the pipe, but what if the pilot scrrew is turned out like 4-5 turns, then the bike wont run right will it, i thought that the pilot screw had to be less than 2.5 turns?
