I was riding my raptor around saturday with shorts on. I was just riding back and forth. My calf just touched the header and i got a serious burn.2nd degree burn. It is pretty bad. i could see raw meat cause the blister broke. I will take some pics. Plese wear pants when riding. This is painful

 

you think thats bad, warriors headers seem to stick out realyl far and i got a burn about three inches long by two inches wide on my calf, that hurt. Also i was sitting on my quad with my feet hanging off the back and my leg hit the back of my pipe, which is a disc exhaust so its flat and says supertrapp around in a circle and i had that branded on my leg for a few weeks, now you cna still see a peice of the circle and the "su" of supertrapp. haha alsways wear pants

 

yeah my aftermaket header get red. I touched the heat sheild ha it was probably the same temo its onlt a 10 inch piece of metal an inch away. It used a torx to put on. so i have this big burn with a torx right in the middle

 

LOL, it could be worse, I have a scar from where a 2 stroke pipe burned me THROUGH a pair of mx pants. Good times though, and a great reason to always wear long pants while you ride.

 

i don't wear shorts when riding... i just don't ride in the summer
