STOP!!!! Don't order it!!!! TOTAL JUNK!!! I had one on my honda recon, it was a terrible exhaust, i'd much rather have the stock one. It gave me so much trouble that I will never buy another FMF product as long as I live. They use steel fasteners to hold everything together, and as everyone knows, steel rusts. So after you ride threw water a few times everything rusts solid and the only way to get the thing apart to re-tune it or repack it is to drill everything out and start over. And of course with my recon FMF didn't even incorporate a way to seal the joint between the header and silencer properly, no clamps, gaskets. Nothing, so I had to rig up my own way with some thin sheet metal and hose clamps. I don't know if the wolvy's would be the same way, but either way fmf is still pretty crappy.

I don't have much experience with the powerline, but i'm totally against fmf 4 stroke exhaust in general no matter which model it is. If you're looking for max power gains look somewhere else, the only thing fmf has going for them is they're usually quieter than the competition.

The megamax is an old design, and I woud hope that fmf would have corrected the problem for the newer ones but i don't really know. It's not actually all the fasteners that rust up (the ones around the side of the can are stainless to make it look good) but the nuts welded inside the can are steel, and I believe the end cap screws were also regular steel. It may not seem like a big deal that the nuts inside the can get rusty, but the problem is that they get seized onto the screw and when you put some torque on them to break them loose most of the time the welds break instead, and the nut spins freely inside the can.

ya dont buy FMF I have a 2001 400EX With a powercore 4 and Its 3 years old and its falling appart. The spark arestor fell out of the back and the end cap is about to crack off. Also the seal witch seals the slip on to the header has dry roted resaulting in a air leak. I Also have on a airbox and pro flow k&n and the air box welds are breaking all the time and the battry flops around brakeing the cable all the time. Also the battry will hit the airfilter and keep tearing holes in the filter and pre filter. Some times it will even push backward and dislodge the intake boot from the carb. Also I have to clean the airfliter every hour of use because it will get so dusty and the quad will run worse than stock. I am going to change all this back to stock soon since I bought the quad with these. I dont why you would ever buy this junk all for 2 to 3 HP. And not to mention it is so loud the nabor has caled the police before. Do not Buy fmf or a airbox. If you have to modify get a different pipe and remove lid on stock air box
