The 6 month warrenty has just just run out on my raptor. So, if its my nickle for all maintence from now on, why in heck should I leave it stock? I want improved HP and torque..I want instant throttle response and the ability to stay up with modded 450's from most manufacturers, and I want to respectably get up sand mountain compition hill without embarassing Yamaha. I love this raptor as it is and it has plenty of power to take care of me in most situations. Thing is, I want to sneak up on my son and his honda 450R and blow that atv away in my roost. I have looked at CTR with K&N air and Dynajet. That is a benchmark. I am open for experienced riders and there pro advice. Please chime in.
Thanks

Full exhaust system = $500 or so, Most single pipes are close in gains so shop around for something you like
Power Commander lll = $270 (recommend fuel moto)
Intake and a High flow Filter = $120 ( on the intake spend the extra for a Pro-design, GYTR or a Trinity they have the bettter intake)
That will put you under 1k if want to go a little over then change the single exhaust to LTE duels

You can significantly add power for under $1K with a full exhaust, intake and programmer.
I had added the Trinity full exhaust, PD intake with no lid and the Dynojet powercommander. It pulled pretty good and was sufficient for a time.

I highly recommend the set-up we installed on my cousins 700R. All Curtis Sparks components...........
1. Sparks X-6 Full system
2. Sparks fuel injection module with custom map
3. Sparks air filter w/lid removed
All for $997 and worth every penny!
