Hey there. We are looking at modding the 700, and was just wondering how some of you with this kit are liking it. How much horsepower are you getting. I know its not the trinities claimed 27 horse increase. Their dynos are always cracking me up. But I would be suprised if you were up there is the low 60's somewhere? How about the torque. Mid 50's???
Also, what exhaust are you guys liking on these things. I read a recent exhaust shootout in atvrider, are there any others?? They where saying the CT pipe with the dobeck controller was an awesome setup. They also said the WB aluminum pro with the WB controller made good power, and is what they would pick for racing. Anybody try the twobros system? Looks pretty cool.
Anyway, just wanted to hear from a few of you with this setup. Thanks in advance!
"DSNUT" ......how are you liking your 700. They get better in time dont they. I sware ours got faster after break in! I now can say that is just as fast stock as a stock yfz450. We were out testing yesturday. I am thinking about actually ditching the yfz for the 700. WAY MORE COMFY!

I am curious as to the gains with the 734 aswell.... I am considering doing it very soon... I just purchased my 700r on 3-17-06 and I already have a CTracing pipe, aluminum air box and aluminum oil tank.. I am still trying to figure out which EFI controller to use.

Either the pc3 or the trinity. I cant decide which. I was going to go with the pc3, but found out there are maps already loaded up on the trinity for the 734. I dont know about you, but I would rather be out riding, then sitting on the computer finding out what I need to change to make it run better. The trinity is almost like a "plug'n play"
Good luck!

I Can't say enough about mine, it's a hole new bike with the 734 kit on it. Had it on the Trinity dyno 02/20/06 @ SAE Corrected Real Wheel Power 62.8 Hp 50.2 Ft. Lbs. Torque at 6573 rpm at 64.6mph . Certainly not the fastest modified Quad out there, But thoses 60 mph 4th and 5th gear wheelies are lots of fun. This weekend I'm taking it to the sand in Glammis Calif. Any of you SO. CAL. boys going give me a shout.

Dynoed with Slicks. Trinity ran the stock bike on the dyno prior to the mods. dont have it here in front of me, but Im thinking it was around 38- 40 horse. I didnt go with there highest comp. piston, because I didnt want to run race fuel on a regular basis, but if I had to do it over I would have gotten it. I beleive thats where you will get the extra 3 or 4 horse.
I spent around $2700.00 on parts to include the H.D. clutch. After getting the ported head shipped in from them bare with no valves and a fresh sand blast look, and the CYL. jug looking as bad, plus needing a torch to anneal the copper head gasket. My personal tought was, Life is fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuing short! Loaded it in my truck, drove to Trinity in Anaheim and shasam two weeks later out poped my little blue torque Monster! Labor cost was around $1100.00 but remeber it went in bone stock, and also some of that cost was the polishing of the outer head & CYL. castings.
Could'nt be happier with the Quality of Trinity's Parts and Service. They did a top notch install on everything.
