Default aux. lights for yfz

I wanted to install a set of aux lights on my yfz, now I have a set of 55 watt driving lights for a vehcile. now I was thinking of mounting a single one in the center. this is becuase there is a hole drilled in a brace across the center of the fram where I can easily install the light.

But my question is will the battery and eletrical system support a 55watt light from a vehcile or not??

thanks,
Lance

Check the specs on yamahas website, i think there are other numbers that are significant other than the wattage.

I think you can squeeze about 40 watts b4 screwing anything up, but don't quote me on this

you mean per light correct? Becuase the lights that come from the factory are 35 watts apiece.

And if I wanted to install a set of 55 watt lights, what oversized stator would I need? and could you give me a estimated price on it?

I ment another 40 watts..cause yammi make 55w upgrade bulbs that would be 40w above factory 35w bulbs.....also people are running heated handgrips that pull about 40w without problems......so 40w over stock seems OK....
