Ebay Scams
I was just looking on ebay and there are 4 different raptor 660 for sale that are clearly scams. Ebay is getting really bad, I would never buy any motor vehicle from ebay. The only way to tell the scam is when they say to email them and try to keep it out side of ebay. Some of the scamers even have 2000 feed back and are 100% positive. Any way I found one of the scamers write up for a Raptor 660 to be funny. Here it is
http://cgi.ebay.com/2002-Yamaha-Rapt...QQcmdZViewItem
"This is a 900cc diesel three cylinder four-cycle with OHV automatic transmission hi-med-low rang forward, neutral, reverse 4x4 and 2x4 with differential lock for all four wheel lock.It it also has hydrostatic power, independent macpherson strut-type suspension with wet disk brakes. The cargo bed is 47inches long by 52 inches wide and will dump. The color is real tree camo for the real hunter to use to get his game.It has a trailer hitch for a cargo trailer, this unit is a real work horse, there is no belts like a snowmobile like other brands this one has heavy duty drive shafts"
If they had me writeing these adds they would acatualy get some buyers lol

The ebay listings are getting bad....I have bought a car and a dirtbike off the internet and sold a jetski and dirtbike in the last 2 years...but I would not buy b4 looking in person.....strange that others do not...
Really Ebay seems to be getting to be a tool for crooks more than anything

Ebay Scams
REALLY REALLY pay attention to anything dealing with paying via "PAYPAL" also. Just a heads up warning...
PAYPAL is Owned and operated by EBAY. They don't care about individual complaints, trust me.
There are multiple scammer sites spoofing PAYPAL buying services, via redirected websites that look and have seemingly real URL's.
These actually contain valid links to actual PAYPAL stuff, such as mail and info, but the payment and account logons are bogus.
A common scam is to take your parts order and then re-direct your browser to a "secure site" to use PAYPAL.
But, if you examine the actual linked URL's, you ain't in Kansas anymore, Toto.....
Last Spoof Site I found WAS VERY CONVINCING. In the end, it required me to call the URL's Server Administrator (in MEXICO) because the IDIOTS at PAYPAL wouldn't move on the information I supplied them with, including screen shots of the redirected website and URL's to trace via WHOIS.....etc.
Luckily, the Mexico Administator confirmed my info trace and shut off the site access. (Tech school kids on some SE mexico campus(!)
ANYWAY, BEWARE because EBAY/PAYPAL really don't care and won't do anything for you in a scam situation.
