Default Wolverine and 424?

Hey guys, brand spanking new here and this is my very first post.

Will be inheriting a Wolverine from my brother or I should say handed down since he bought a new 06 Wolverine and had a question about the reliability of the Warn 424 system.

I really like what I have read about the system and want to know if it's worth the money.

Thanks for any input.

I've got a lot of mods and if I could pick just one...it would be the Warn 424 (well, ok...maybe it would be the 446 )

You'd be hard pressed to find a negative post on here concerning the Warn 424. It's proven to be very reliable and worth every penny!

I can't say enough good things about my 424 on my Wolverine, puts more power to the rear wheels, giving you more sport out of your sport utility, power slides in corners are effortless, turns sharper, steers easier on the trails, but a push of a lever, and you are back to the front end pulling you through the rough or deep stuff. I have mudded, trailed, duned, etc. with the Warn 424, and it has held up fine, not one problem.

I've had the Warn 424 on my Wolverine for about 6 months now, I couldn't be more happy with this Mod. The steering is way better and it corners awsome. I didn't have any trouble installing it myself either. I Highly recommend the 424.

I bought my Wolverine used and it came with a 424. It's a great unit and really transforms the quad. In 2wd, the Wolverine feels much more like a sport machine in regards to turning effort, sliding and handling. When things get nasty, click it into 4wd.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm going to purchase the Warn unit. Anyone have some good pics of the install?

Thanks Again.

This page details it out nicely: http://www.totallyamaha.com/atvs/tech/Unlocker.htm

Mine was installed on the right side of the machine though and I kinda of like it there.
