Default Power Commander

Could someone tell me if I did this right. I connected the wiring, installed the software onto the computer, Downloaded the map that pertained to my bike setup, conected my computer to the Power Commander then sent the map to it while the bike was running. Is that all I do? What are the "Low, Mid, High" buttons on the PC? how do I use them? I would appreciate any help on this....thanks a ton

That's pretty much all there is to it! Go ride and enjoy The 3 buttons are for manual tuning if you feel that it needs adjustment anywhere in the low mid or high end of the fuel curve. Put your software CD in and peruse the owners manual it will explain the adjustment procedure in detail.

Have fun!

I love the thing...Stock its already great. With a few bolt-ons its amazing. This is the first top end sport bike I have ever owned so I can't really compare it to a YFZ or a Banshee, but I can't imagine any stock bike much better than this. I can do things on this that I could never do on any other bike I have been on before. Thanks for the compliments.

Like RaptorRandy said it is a manual way to adjust the current map. It breaks the map into 3 sections and each adjustment leans/richens that entire curve 2%. I really only see someone that doenst have a way to hook a computer up to the quad using these, so they dont have to take the PC back off or if you ran into a bad running issue out riding. You can fine tune the map alot better and see what you actually did if use a computer.

So when you hook up the computer after riding does it give you stats about what your bike has done?

NO, not at this time. Dyno jet is coming out with an add on for data logging and a handle bar mounted display for real time monitoring as I understand it. They are also working on an add on ignition module so you can custom taylor the ign. curve
