Power Commander Buttons

When fine tuning with the button adjustments. How do you know if you need it leaner or richer? With me my top end feels like it doesnt pull as much as it did before the PC. how would I know which way to adjust that? Thanks

Well if you are running a PC map you are most likely a little rich. Most say there maps tend to be on the rich side. The only way to know for sure is a good ole fashion plug check. I have a custom map and I compared it to the one PC recommends for my set-up and mine is leaner across the entire map. I have done a plug check on mine and my plug looks real good. If you pull up your map on a computer you can lean the entire map or portions of it 1% at a time and try out different versions of your map, just save the new map under a new name. I have a map thats about 2% leaner, I run when I have to use my Spark Arrestor.

No, you can highlight the whole column or whole map and then page down to lean it out by 1% at a time.
Each click on the page down key is 1% try it with a copy of your map to get the hang of whats happening when you do it.

And on my SA map I didnt lean the entire map I started at I beleive it was 2500 rpm up to 8 or 9000 rpm. The values under 2500 where mainly at 0 so I started on the rpm range that my map had changes at almost every throttle postion which was 2500 on mine. Then after 9000 rpm they where at 0 also so stopped there, but you really should have a 700r that high in RPM's anyway they fall off around 6500 RPM's.

Yes if they are set-up for it. You can go to Power Commaders website for a list of shops that can make you a custom map for your quad. They have them all over the country. Not sure what something like that would cost though.
