Default Blaster carb - ghetto rigged

01 blaster was having carb trouble.. when i would give it full throttle it would just bog wayyy down, still run.. but you were unable to move the bike it was so bad.. was told that it had the wrong mixture of fuel run through it before it came back from kentucky so i drained and cleaned the tank and plug.. decided to check out the main jet and i noticed that when i would go get the main jet out it would go all the way up and push the slide up .. didn't think that was right.. is there some kind of clip or something that holds that whole tube for the main jet down? .. couldn't figure out why it wouldn't stay down so i took a punch and a hammer and knocked down two of the edges to get it to stay down where it should be.. has this happened to anyone else before or does anyone know if there is a clip that goes on it to keep it in the proper position? Its ghetto rigged but it works just as good as new. thanks

You are missing a washer under the main jet . It takes a special one . Go see your dealer.
