well it wouldn't be the stator wheel cause that is just a metal disk(heavy) that attaches to the crank... it has a tab on it that the pickup picks up and send the chanrge to wherever( i am not good with the electric ) but that can go bad and isn't usualyl to much to replace($100 at most)

i just brought my warrior to my mechanic with no spark at all... he said its probably the pickup coil, because it has NO spark at all.... he also said that if it was the stator it would get spark until it warmed up too much, then lose spark and stall... which seems to be your problem. hate to say so, but it looks like u might need a $200+ part...

the original problem with mine was a fuse and the neutral safety switch. That cost about $200 to get it back that time, then on thanksgiving day the same thing happened. This time they thought it was the coil and they basically rewired the whole thing, That cost $250 and worked for about a day. Then the stator went out. $400 and 2 months ago the stator and pulsar coil got replaced. Now with basically all new electrical it starts and runs great. Now all I need is tires and a new drive chain and possibly a new head (brocken exhaust bolts, fixed in July). So far the bolts have held up. My $950 warrior is costing a fortune.
