Default question about head on warrior

im getting my cylinder honed and reringing my warrior because of a blown base gasket.. the valves look good.. the only problem i see with the head is some light scratches where the head meets the head gasket.. will this cause any problems ? should i have it surfaced or should i just slap it back together and call er done ?

It really matters on how deep the scratches are. Most machine shops won't charge much to resurface a head. If you have a engine shop near by I would take it in and see what they think. If everything is done right, you won't have to worry about it again for a long time.

how deep are they? like if it looks like someone scratched it with sandpaper dont worry but if theres like metal hanging off the edges of the scratch, id resurface it...
