I bought a new cable.took apart the caliper cleaned and lubed it,Installed the new cable in it.THen It didn't have a front brake lever when I bought it.I used my stock 250r clutch lever upside down. The brake cable is supposed to be on the front brake side but I switched the levers and drilled out the part the end of the cable goes in and installed it.I had to adjust it but now they work great!I also lubed the cable with my cable luber.

Hey just to let you know the brake cable has a teflon coating on the cable on the inside that helps it slide better, if you lube that it will eat away at that teflon and eventually wear it away and ruin your brake cable. Im fixing mine right now too and i learned that in the process.
