Does the Raptor use the same carb as the YZ400?
Does it use 2 cables or just 1 from the thumb throtle?
Any tps on the Raptor?

May seem like silly ?s but it's stuff I need to know, Thanks

no it is not a silly question , a lot of people want to know but dont ask.
it has two carbs but uses a single cable . the throttle is lighter than a blaster's throttle because you only need to turn two butterflies instead of lifting slides with stiff slide-springs.
dont know about the yz 400 .

the raptor has 2 33 mikuni bsr carbs, the 400 uses a single mikuni fcr carb

Keihin makes the FCR 39mm carb used on the YZF, not Mikuni. The FCR 39mm is also the carb of choice for many high performance carbureted street bikes.

The Raptor carbs are BSR CV carbs by Mikuni.
