What size socket do I need to remove the front sprocket on my Raptor? The cycle shops are closed and I would like to get one before Sears closes.
Thank you

It's a 1 3/4" socket. You have to also take off the left peg to remove it.

The socket you need is a 23mm. A air compressor and an impact wrench won't hurt either!

Good luck!

I used a 6 point 1-1/4". Very tight fit and works great. I just loosened the shift linkage (1 10mm bolt) and slid it off of the shaft. Peg did not have to be removed.

Same here. I used 1 1/4" wrench and loosened shift linkage!

ATVinstructor was right, it is a 32mm or a 1 1/4". The only 1 1/4" I could find was in a 3/4" drive.
