Default Couple Questions

I'm sure this has been played out before.....UNI or K&N??? is it possible to over oil the UNI and restirct airflow? last one. Anyone know how long of a drive it is from Phoenix to Glamis? Thanks all

I live in the northeast so, my quad rarely sees sandy conditions. It is my understanding that the K&N flows a little better but, with that increased flow comes decreased protection. What I am saying is, if you ride the dunes, go with the uni.

Now, let the pro-k&n replies come in. For the record, I run a K&N.

Default Couple Questions

I have ran both and I like both filters. I do beleive in dusty conditions you are better off with a UNI and in wetter conditions you are better off with a K&N/with a outerwears (no lid is assumed).

I ride in both conditions sometimes in the same day so I went with the Pro-Flow UNI with a Pro-tec lid and I am very happy with the protection and performance.

Default Couple Questions

From what I have heard, K&N may be a better choice for sand. Anywhere else and I like foam. Yes, you can overoil a UNI.
