I pay 152 from Erie Insurance with a $200 deductable. Your age and driving record has a great deal to do with it. I'm 28 years old, with no accidents or speeding violations, married, with a Minivan, and that seems to help, my buddy is 28, has a CDL, married, one accident, drives SUV, he pays 225 from same company.
GET IT, I don't care if it costs you $400 a year, do the math. 7000 vs 400.....

Usually the best and most cost effective way to insure anything is thru the carrier you already have for your other insurance [car, house, apartment, boat, etc]. The amount of coverage, your driving record, the area you live and other things go into the calculation of your premium. I live in between Chicago and Milwaukee so i'm sure it is considered a high theft area. So i have theft coverage plus collision coverage [in case i hit a big tree or do damage in some other way]. Essentially it is like having full coverage auto insurance. My premium is about 245.oo a year with a 250.oo deductible. If you live in the middle of Kansas, your nearest neighbor is 5 miles away and you insure your barn, cows, tractors, crops, house, land, boat, cars, jewelry, etc thru the same guy I'm sure your premium will be significantly less. the guy I bought my banshee from had a similar situation as above and he was paying 100.00 a year with a 100.00 deductible. So the price all depends on your situation. Usually you can buy insurance from some cheap place but you will never know how they pay out until your machine is gone or destroyed and then it will be too late.
There is an age old saying that says...time and unforseen occurrance befall us all... so if you want to gamble that your quad will be safe instead of paying the premiums then i trust as an adult you will be able to live with the consequences.
