Thanks everyone
The power steering we knew would be a nice addition. We all knew that. What, I believe is we just didn't
know how much we would like it. In 4 wheel, and diff lock what a breeze. I am impressed. I can't wait to
hear other comments of buyers here. Put a couple of hours and come back and let us know. I couldn't
be happier. I was riding around on the stock tires, which I think are only so-so. If I had some larger
tires, maybe this rig wouldn't seem so fast. I think it is going to be a hit. I haven't yet figured out how
to get at the radiator jug to add fluid yet. That seems a little complicated, for something you might
have to do with regularity.

I found this review from a owner very interesting.
took my new 700 for a 6 hour ride today. had no problems at all. I did quit a few drags against other machines. 700 vs 660 i won 4 in a row. its definetly faster the the 660 but not by a whole lot. I beat a polaris 700 3 out 5 times. he was running 27's though i beat him by quite a bit. I lost to the BOMB 800 evey time by miles. Nothing compares to that thing speed wise. I took turns swapping bike with my buddy and his 660. you don;t really notice the power difference unless you race them. the 700 handles alot nicer than the 660 at high and low speed especially in corners. It feels alot less tippy on the trails. we rode them up a bank slowly side by side to see which would lift the front tires first. It was a to close to call. I didn't take the 660 to top speed but got the 700 up to a 100 km easy. I didnts want to push the motor to hard so I backed off . I'll try it again after the first service. The power steerings great you don't notice it at all till you ride the 660 through the same trail. That being said if it was an extra option you had to pay for I wouldn't pay the extra. For a smaller rider though it might make things alot easier. The breathers and air filters are up about as high as can be without snorkling. I rode it through the river 3 times fast and slow and had no problems. I still find the suspension a little soft even at the highest setting but my lighter buddies said it was perfect. Of the 4 riders who rode it today all except the BOMB owner said they would trade there machines for it in a heartbeat. Even the BOMB owner said it was a great machine but hes a speed freak and likes the 800 power.
P.S. Those Can-am 800s are friggin fast.

I wonder how the Grizzly 700 compares to the King 700 power/speed wise. It could be faster since the King is detuned so bad...but not with the VDI I wouldn't think...Have any of you owners raced a King 700 yet??
"I lost to the BOMB 800 evey time by miles. Nothing compares to that thing speed wise."...well I hope he didn't expect to beat the bomb with a 686 sohc single.

I to took out my new 700 camo, bought it Friday and headed to the woods Friday afternoon. When I picked it up I thought yea it's an 07 with a few changes (BIG MISTAKE) it is nothing like my 05 660.
I loved the 660 but the new 700 is in a league by it's self! Power, speed, handles like it's on rails and the ride is sooooooooooooooooo smooth.
I put 118 miles on it in two and a half days and let me say It Feels like I rode down the street. This is the new standard in ATV's!
When I first got to camp everyone wanted to race I said no racing until I put 75 miles on it, Done by noon on Saturaday... Let's just say everyone is very surprized by the speed and ride of the new grizzy. Best money I ever spent the only disapointment was no mounting bracket for the wench until Sept. But I have never had to use it for my ATV just some pu;; outs for brand X.
Well enough said I love it!

glad to hear everyones enjoyin the grizzly's. In my opinion, all around this thing does everything just about the best of any manufacturer except make power like the outty, i got a report on it from an atv magazine up here in canada, and it said it was alot quicker stock for stock against the honda 680 and king q 700, they said it was even able to hang with the bomb 650. but after i rode the grizzly i was thoroughly impressed and couldn't really be happier. from my standpoint as a dealer i believe it is a complete machine, and does everything well, im almost glad yammi made it a 700 with all the features instead of some fire breathin 800 twin, i will sell alot more 700's than i would 800 outty's, because all outty's are good at is makin it up the hill first.
PS - EPS is amazing.

and it said it was alot quicker stock for stock against the honda 680 and king q 700
If this is true then it must mean the Grizzly 700 doesn't have a timing retard like the King 700 b/c if it did it wouldn't be "alot" quicker than the King which would have the superior power, if not for the timing retard of course. This Grizzly sounds like it's a nice ATV though, I'd definitely like EPS on my King in 4wd diff lock mode, It's sooooo hard to steer.
