My left rear axle and boot is oil and dust covered. It only has 800 km on it. Could this be a seal or maybe a boot leaking. Thanks

I have had the same thing with my 06 450.For some reason the oil seal on that side of the diff leaks!!!I have a new seal but have not put it in yet.I would check the oil color(milky) and level.I believe it just "weeps" a little.

FYI,my buddy has the same problem as well.

Thanks for the info. I might contact the dealer and get it fixed as it is still under warranty. Thanks again.

They all do it. A $7 seal and about 15 min. and it is fixed. Dealer says it is from pressure washing. Don't think so. when you pull the seal out you will see a small piece of seal like a piece of thread. I think that when they put the axle in at the factory that the seals get torn.

Mines not from pressure washing because it has not been pressure washed yet. I'm going to check dealer out on it.

Dealer said warranty would cover it, no problem. I dropped it off today.
