Default 2004 Warrior

Hi, i Have a 2004 warrior 350cc. The bolt that is connected to the transmission and the shaft for reverse has fallen out. I put a new one in and it is tight but when i pull the lever (to get it into reverse) the bolt just turns inside of its nut instead of moving whatever it has to inside the tranny. Do i need a special bolt or can i use the one i Have somewhow? Thanx in advance

I'd remove the nuit and move the shifter by hand to make sure it is still connected in the tranny.

These things are a biatch to shift sometimes, so you will KNOW if it is moving something inside.

Make sure it is adjusted to move it ENOUGH to get it all the way into reverse.

Other than that, I have never had to mess with that yet.
