Default Tires?

Hey. Im looking for a light weight tire that will give me really good traction in gravel and hard packed dirt. Any comments? Thanks.

Since you said "light weight" I would rule out the IRazr. They come in as one of the heavier sport tires at 17.9 lbs. The Razr2 comes in at 17 lbs.

Towards the lighter end of the spectrum are the Razr at 14.5 lbs, Holeshot at 14.5 lbs and the Holeshot GNCC at 15.1 lbs. But for one of the lighter sport tires is the Trac Star. It comes in at only 13 lbs. It has a 6 ply rating and plus is a radial. Do not think you can go wrong with these since you are looking for a light weight tire.

I vote Kenda Klaws, they're a good light all-around tire. Well, they're good in everything except mud at least, but no true sport tire is really that good in mud.

I just purchased the Knarly rear and the klaw front. 6ply. Raced yesterday and it stuck. I was impressed way better than the stocks that came on my Raptor.
