Yamaha Blaster Kill Switch
I have a 2003 Yamaha Blaster and just received a Pro Armor kill Switch. The paper says to ground one of the wires to frame ground and the other between the stator and the ignition coil. My problem is that I do not know which wire is between the stator and the ignition coil. If anyone could assist me I would really appreciate it. I just purchased the ATV for my daughter and would like to get her out on the track this Saturday. I have 2 pics and can email if needed as I do not know how to attach. Thanks in advance.

ok i have and 04 so its the same so i followed the coil from the spark plug back and splice the wires together there. if u are not sure if u found the right wire start the blaster then pull the thing out (hint its got a clear see thru cover over the wire) and it should shut off its not then u got the wrong one.
1. remove seat, and ground one wire from kill switch (i loosened a clamp on the bars and put it in there and tightened it back and works good.
2. follow spark plug carp wire back,
3. under the gas tank in the middle its right there
4. Splice the kill switch wire to the wire under tank on the plug under tank
5. test make sure its good.
6. button up and enjoy

I havent had time to do what you suggested yet. Hopefully either Tuesday or Wednesday I will pull everythign off and trace it back. I have printed your instructions and will let you know if I run into any problems or have any questions. A pic, only if you had one, would be nice but I am not going to ask you to take anything apart just for this.
Thanks,
Thanks,
