Some people already know that my quad has been at Alba Action Sports in Poway, CA for 2.5 weeks to be dyno tuned.
I originally was told that it could be done for $216-288 and would take 3-4 days.
After one week, I called and was told that they hadnt even touched it "well call ya when its done."
I call the middle of the next week and they say its scheduled to go on the dyno well call ya when its done. Call a few days later, "its on the dyno now well call ya when its done."
I go down there over the weekend "weve added as much fuel as the programmer will alow, and pulled timing out(PC3 does not have provision for timing). I ask what they reccomend....they talk to the tech and comes back.....The increments are too far apart, and needs finer adjustment(250RPM increments). Tells me to sit tight till monday when Sam Coe can look at it.
I call up tues and they say that my programmer is not made for my bike, and does not communicate with it.
I pick it up tonight, I ask to speak to the tech that worked on it, and "hes not here but you can call him monday". So I pay the $155(2 hrs on the dyno and draining the fuel tank, refilling with VP C12) to these know nothing kids so I can take my bike, and they push it to my truck.....The boost gauge is missing. I ask the guy about it....he runs to the shop and brings it out. He cant tell me why it was removed. I start the bike and pull in the clutch.....no tension. The cable was removed with no explanation. There are 2 dirty footprints on the seat....no explanation.
These guys are CROOKS!!!!!!!

Thats why you should do your own work. If you cant do your own work you shouldnt have a quad. No offense guy, but i dont understand how someone can take pride in a fast quad when they didnt even make it fast. Not saying that its right that they beat around the bush but hey, no different than letting someone else work on your vehicle.

There is some truth to : If you want it done right, do it yourself. I belive I will get a wideband O2 and see what I can do.
As far as taking pride in something, I fabricated the turbo system myself. I weld and fabricate for a living. I chose to take it to a shop that claims to specailize in dyno tuning quads. That is something I wanted a professional to do. I gave em a chance and they couldnt even do as well as I can!
Lets say I have money as far as the eye can see and have no mechanical talent, paid someone else to build the quad, and all I have to do is put race fuel in it and ride. Id still take pride in having a nice quad. Your expressing your opinions, not those of other people.
I remember responding to your post the other day about what to do for exhaust. I replied with help, rather than, why doesnt this f@@k Up know that Toomey is the best for Banshees, and FMF is a good choice also.
Im sure you take pride in those hardcore mods you got on your Banshee....you did the removal of the snorkel and the KN filter yourself right? I seriously admire those blue grips you have listed as a mod. Im gonna slice those Pro Taper Dual Density grips off tommorow and get some like yours.

Yes i did take snokel off by myself and put the grips on. And i didnt get screwed on the deal. All i was doing was making reccomenations and suggestions and you attack me. Most horepower doesnt mean fastest. Its best to tune your quad by riding it and seeing how it does best. Not by letting an estimating machine tell you what makes the most power. The sad part is you claim to be a fabricator and have the skills to put a turbo on yet dont tune your own machine? How much sense does that make?
As for you attacking my quad. I bought a street bike and didnt dump that 5 grand into the shee, yet. We wont get into how bad a shee with 5 grand dumped into it can beat ur rappy.
