i ordered a pipe kit from alba. i got the e-searies pipe instead of the one it came with. wich i had to pay another 43 bucks, no big deal. the add in the magazine said the kit came with pipe, tork stuffer, jet kit, k&n filter and outer were. when i got the package it was missing the tork stuffer, and the jet kit consisted of a single jet not a kit and no instructions i called alba about the tork stuffer, they told me i would have to pay extra for it, that it was not included in my kit. i said your add says it is.i got nowere with alba. the bottom line is i paid $363.47 for a pipe and filter. i say alba beat me for about a 100 bucks. i will never deal with them again. if i wanted to spend that much money i would have gone to the yamaha dealer down the rd could have saved 40 bucks, had it that day. i waited almost two weeks from alba. never again!!!!

That's strange, I had just the opposite experience. Not only did I get all the parts for my warrior kit, but I originaly didn't see the jet in the box, and called and they sent one immediatly. I later found the jet, so that wasn't ever their fault, I just spaced it out. The guy I talked to was very cooperative. I guess it just depends on who you talk to. I do however agree with you about the documentation. I had to go out to WB's site to get documentation on the silencer and tourqe stuffer. I didn't need any documentation on the jet, but you might be able to get that on the web somewhere. Alba definatly needs to improve the documents shipped with their kitts.

a tork stuffer is a coned shaped piece that goes between the head and header pipe.kinda like a ventori. they claim it gives you more tork.

Is tork the same as torque, or is it something unheard of except by purchasers of Alba products? Also, is a ventori similar to a venturi? You know the ones that are used in Bernoulli's principle of convergent and divergent ducts?

Mac who did you talk to? I live down the road from them and have gotten to know a couple of the people there. In any pipe kit you get a "jet kit" which really is only the proper jets to install into your carb to work with the pipe. The torque stuffer probably should have came with your kit but depending on who you talked to could have been forgotten. The torque stuffer is just a cone shaped thing that slows down the exhaust keeping more back pressure so yes you would make more torque but would lose HP on the topend. Call them up and talk to Cory (owner of Alba) and see if he can make things right for you.
