Default Help! soon carb apart

Ok so the carb is apart now and i found out that it has a .145 main jet. It stock with the exception of a white bros e series pipe, air box removed and a pro flow with k&n( the pro flowis in the mail) It ran good except that it would die after letting off the gas un less i reved it when coming to a stop. It also ate gas like no other. The carbs apart and i have removed a lot of sand and dirt, Should i rebuild? Everythign looks good except the dirt part. It was rebuilt 3 years ago and not ridden a whole lot since then maybe 15 -20 hrs. What size jet should i get??? please help!

If it only dies when you let off the gas its probably your pilot jet, just unscrew it 1/2 turn at a time till it goes away.

If you're still on the 145 main and you have intake and exhaust mods you are probably running lean on the main. Have you checked your plug?
