Cool Head
#1
I am looking into buying a pro design cool head for my 06 Banshee but on the pro design website there are some things i don't understand. What do the cc's and mm's mean when buying a cool head and what is the dome and what size do i need. Is there some specific kind i need for my banshee, i only have pipes on it right now. I'm new to this so some help would be appreciated because i want to make sure i buy the right thing. How do you guys feel about Noss Machine cool headz? Thank you!!

i just bought a pro design for myself i run 21cc domes only because i wanna still run pump gas. I heard alot of good things about NOSS heads. Go over to bansheehq.com they have way more knowledge than over here

the domes in the head change the squish and compression! The lower dome number the more compression! Altitude also plays a role in it as well. Like in Omaha Ne. (i dont know elevation off hand) if you run the 21cc domes you run pump gas but put in a 18cc dome and you will need race fuel! If you go with the smaller dome and race fuel..... i would suggest using an aftermarket piston. I have seen stock pistons break when using smaller domes! Hope this helps!
