ok i have a 2003 grizzly when i was at deer camp i thought i had broken an axle but i do not know if i did for sure what has broke was the cage and ball bearings at the hub end of the axle cup star everything else looks fine but where if i can can i get this part or do i have to buy a new axle and also a link to download the service manual on cd would be nice for the grizz

 

My 03 just popped a CV and how you have described it was exactly the same, I would suggest to just replace the whole thing as it seems to be a common thing throughout all the quads with CV s. I replaced the whole shaft and two CV s and i have had no troubles since.
