Is this worth that much? Does anybody have or have used this? Sounds like you would have to remove a sparks key if you get it since it can control that area. Feedback appreciated.

It advances and retards the timing. With the Sparks key, the ignition is advanced even more. Maybe too far...I would definately check with FMF or Sparks before installing one on a Raptor with the Sparks key? I assume you have a Sparks key installed, how do you like it?

I putted around in yard last night to re-evaluate the installation. At first(when I first got it back) it wouldn't let third gear build quick at all. After that it's been ok. It seems to give the quad a different sound . It keeps the RPM up longer after letting off the gas. However it seems the ATV doesn't run as "cleanly" as before I gotta take it on a real ride this weekend. I think it was DSDave or CAlds that said you can possibly burn up the engine. I am calling sparks about that today @ lunch.

With too much advance, you would probably loose some high rpm power in return for a bit more power on the low end. You may get into some valve clatter also, which is not good.

I called sparks about the key ans they said that With or without an exhaust it won't burn up your engine. He said it doesn't have anything to do with the exhaust.
