I've already had a spill and replaced all of my plastic. I will go through my records and get back to you. I can't remember exactly what the plastic broke down to on the total bill.

Guessing 200 for front 250 for back

Call a buddy of mine at Waynesville Cycle. Marc Hickman ext.3 1-800-648-5831. He saved a friend of mine over $900 on stock parts for his Yamaha R1 after his crash. Tell him John Fitzgerald sent ya. I never have gotten ATV (thinking of getting a Raptor) parts from him but plenty of R6 and R1 parts. he will tell you what MSRP is on the parts and then he'll tell you what he can sell them to you for. Hope this helps

Hey SPL2000,

Off the subject, but do you happen to know Don Moore (owner of State Farm Insurance) in Artesia, NM or his son James (police in Artesia). Don's my uncle and James my cousin. If so, tell them Bart says Hi. Oh, and sorry to hear about your plastic. What happened?

Thanks.

I just got prices from Yamaha today on plastics for my Raptor. A friend of mine rolled min last night and did some prety good damage. Front plastic+= $245.00, rear=230.71, handle bars=$26.00, Clutch pearchand all other parts with cables=83.64, nose piece=$52.89,ingnition switch=43.76, frame=588.61, steering stem=100.12, I will have more to get as I see what the damage is when I get it tore down all the way. DO NOT LET FRIENDS GET ON YOU BIKE EVEN IF THEY OWN A RAPTOR OF THEIR OWN. By the way I was told that it only would be 3 to 5 days for the parts to come in and they were all in stock.

The frame is only $600?!?! Damn, that sounds like a good deal there, not sure about the other stuff... you might want to think about going aftermarket for the handlebars and steering stem...

YIKES!!!!! If that's what your friends do to you, what do your enemies do???

How in the Heck did he do that much damage? Was he in top gear and hit a truck, or did if fall of the trailer at highway speed? MAN I rolled my EX on a nasty hill climb and needed new bars a clutch perch, but never needed new frame! I hope I never have that problem with my Raptor. (400EX = Training bike)
