Default 2 100watt lights???

I picked mine up on ebay. There's several sellers that all have the same item as mine. I believe that one sells a kit that has a bracket to mount the lights from the handlebar clamps also.

Default 2 100watt lights???

So you are saying i cant get a bigger than a 35 watt bulb in my headlight.. Could i add like 2 25 watt torch bulbs on the sides of them or does it not work like that? or like on top of the stock headlight put the small lights... That would be sick, look sick and be wicked bright, how would i do that?

The stock lights are heavy, ugly, easy to break, and have a bad lighting pattern. I don't know why you wouldn't just get a set of 2 50's and ditch the stock ones. It's your quad though...

most electrical systems are designed to hande maybe 55w xtra....like handwarmers or higher watt bulbs....but any more than 55w or so could cause problems...IMO

I believe that Yamaha does/did sell a PIAA sourced 55W lamp so if you want a drop in, then that would probably work. But you're only getting more light from a bad design. My biggest issue has been the design of the lamp itself. It essentially has a washer that's soldered to the bulb. This is fine for the most part. The agravating situation is that it is possible for the Hi-Lo switch on the Warrior to actually have both on at the same time. This has happened to me on 3 lamps. The solder melts from the 70W flowing through the lamp, then the lamp falls into the reflector assembly and chews it up.

I think a little modification of my switch may be in order to fix that. Possibly go with a set of front frame mounted lights like recon, and then a set of handlebar mounts. Then I can switch between the two when, if needed.

Still haven't found any frame mounted units on ebay. But I did find the guy selling the handlebar mounted ones.

They don't sell them as frame mounted lights. You just have to make your own bracket to mount them wherever you decide. It's not hard to make a bracket to mount them anywhere you want them.
