Raptor starter

Default Raptor starter

My raptor startor is freewheeling and i dont know if there is a cheap fix or if it is the one way bearing. Need some info. any help is appreciated thanx

Free wheeling as when you hit the start button all it does is spin????????

Was it starting "just fine" and your motor backfired??????????

OK what happend is the BOLTS that attach the one way starter bearing to the flywheel sheered off.........DON'T PANIC it's easy to fix

Here's a web site that will give you step-by-step instructions on HOW to do it yourshelf..........

Just remember that all you need to do is EXTRACT the sheered bolts from the flywheel AND you need to fish the bolt heads out of the bottom of your motor........I've used a extented MAGNET.........[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Buy some new bolts and re-bolt the one-way back onto the flywheel........
