Whats up guys,
just wanted to get some info on the avg temp a banshee runs at,or what is a good temp it should be at???

 

if you're concerned.. run that little in-line cooler things.. and run Engine ICE coolant

 

My bike (not quad) runs at 175F. Im guessing thats around where the shee runs. Maybe a bit hotter, not much higher than 200F hough.

 

Does that engine ice coolant really work as far as lowering the temp??
just wondering because my banshee feels real hot but then again that could be normal..

 

Just called a friend of mine that races them things [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] he said it should run in the 180's and yes they run hot. The coolers will help a lot but they like to run hotter then the four strokes. They sell a temp guage on e-bay you can install inline on the Radiator hose that has a sweet liquid filled guage on it that will tell you the temp just make sure you install in on the top hose that is where the hottest water temp will be. Speedy2222 is also correct Ice coolant works great and with a inline cooler that will drop the temp anywhere from 8 to 12 degrees.
