Kodiak 450 is not a submarine-Need help now
Alright I'm spent. I took the carb off and looked at it. This thing was as clean as a preacher's sheets. No gum, no dirt, no crud...absolutely nothing! I cleaned it anyways and put it all back together and fired it up.......Exactly the same freakin thing. It runs good at idle.....if you turn the choke up it will idle up and skit.....at cruising speed it skips.....but at WOT it runs fine. Anything else you guys think it could be???

I think you should take a look at your belt and clutches. If you rode it while the belt was wet it may have slipped and caused some damage. Alos there maybe crud in and on your clutches. I personally don't think you damaged your motor. Back in the day, we used to sink our old Suzuki Quadrunners all the time and then ride them home with milky white oil. Do an oil and filter change, clean the air filter and they'd run just fine.
