This atv (Grizzly 450) has been great for me. It does everything a atv needs to do. It has the pwerfect balnce of power, handling, and comfort. The brakes do sometimes squeak after going through sand but if you wash them out they stop squeaking instantly. this is a great atv for all around use.

Yeah. I just traded in my 2005 Kodiak 450. Who ever gets that machine will be pretty happy. Never let me down, Ran very well. I had the same tire and wheel combo as Squeege. It looked very mean with that for sure. Only issue I had with those tires was the feedback in my hands on real rocky rutty terrain. But the thing had enough power to tackle anything I threw at it. What I liked was how nimble it was because it had just about the same ground clearance as the big bores, but sat a lot lower because you didn't have to compensate for engine height. Never did put those overfenders on, They are still in the box.. Just hope they fit my new Grizzly. God I love that power steering. If not for that I would have kept that Kodiak forever.

Hey extremeyamaha if those overfenders don't work let me know, I might be interested in them. I have been wanting a set, the wider tires really throw the mud.

I just picked up a '07 Grizzly 450 this past saturday... took it on its maiden run on Sunday.... Overall I love it.. though there is a Loud Vibration whenever there is a load (meaning going up a hill - fireroad) around 20mph and higher... Also when you accelrate quicker than normal the same noise is there... I don't know what is wrong, but I also know it is NOT Normal... It is going into the shop on Saturday...

Anyone else experience this? or have any ideas?

I'll betcha they tell you its "normal". We owned three Kodiak 450s, and that 421cc engine vibrates like an unbalanced washing machine on spin cycle.

Well, I kinda hope that isn't the case... The vibration seems to be coming from the right footwell area which is where the clutch assembly is... We'll see I have an appointment on Saturday to drop it off...

Thanks

I just bought the Grizzly 450 and i love it. I haven't noticed a vibrating noise but it is probably normal for your atv. It is a good idea to get it checked like you said you are. It is probably something very small that is just loose making the noise. Do you notice anything mechanically wrong with it or is the only thing wrong just the noise. It is a great machine. Hope you enjoy it.

No I believe it is just the noise.. I didn't hear any grinding or anything else... I am very good with a wrench.. but since this is a BRAND NEW machine and under warranty - I am not touching it... I am hoping that something is loose... and that it is not Normal like DesertViper stated.. If so.. WTF Yamaha? We'll see.. it is going into the shop on Saturday.

Yea I agree - I only put 30 miles on it this past sunday... about 2-3 were tight stuff, another 10 single track (sorry - I am a dirtbiker as well).. I ride with a guy that has a Brute Force and the other guy has a 660 Grizz... I went through everything they did with ease.. and some stuff they couldn't due to their bigger size..

I also just got my new 450 grizzly 07 last week. Took it for a soft ride on Saturday, only 40 miles. I did not notice any strange vibration but I was not looking for it and this is my very first ATV, so my experience is zilch I will be riding it this week again and I will certainly look into that and give you some feedback. The other riders were on much bigger ATV's and they were very impressed with all the features on this machine. Particularly the 4x4 lock, low and high transmission and the free winch.
