Raptor 3 spark plug head
Scholle, it is a very nice bike. I was just speculating that the PVL/3-plug head/velocity port motor and the Kenz Challenge build motor aren't that far apart in the hp department, so......
What if the Kenz motor had the head modified for 3-plugs and pulled some of the timing out of it?
Just a thought?

The 3 plug Raptor head has been out for a while now, you've been paying too much attention to 2 strokes. The 8 HP loss on the dyno from pulling one plug wire was my NASA motor on a dyno in TX, the plug wire came loose by accident and they scratched their head for a minute wondering where the extra HP went. Just over 2 tenths of a second slower per plug wire pulled in 300 ft on a 3 plug Raptor in WV.
On the nitro dyno runs that Kenz did on my single plug 727, the amount of HP gained over VP Red drops off at higher rpm. It's still a nice bump over VP Red but the amount of HP gained in the mid-range is 2x the amount gained at 9K rpm. With the 3 plug head, I'm hoping to burn more of the nitro or a higher % of nitro than a single spark plug can ignite.
Plus it looks cool as $hit.
