Default 2003 Big Bear 400 4x4 Deal or No Deal?

A local guy has a 2003 Big Bear 400 Push Button 4x4 for sale for $3500. It has 280 miles and looks to be about an 8 out of 10. Is there anything about these Big Bear 400's that I should know before buying one and is this price fair? If I could get it for $2200, would I be doing good?

Thanks! Chris

$2,200 would be great. My '03 Big Bear is the 1 wheeler that I never have to worry about. It always starts, climbs, pulls....... It's even been rolled, I love mine and with only 280 mi, sounds good to me. Here are the retail and trade in values....

280 miles is nothing for a Big Bear. I have about 750 on mine with some mods, and never had an issue. I ride with 2 others all the time and we have never had any major problems with their quads either. Like flyinscrammy says..it always starts and always does the job. Its one tough atv!
