Default Edelbrock Carb kit on 727 Raptor?

Have a question. I'm selling my Edelbrock Carb Kit on Ebay. A bidder had a question for me which I'm asking Everyone on this Forum. He has a 727 motor in his raptor and was wondering if replacing his stock carbs with the Carb kit would help him? I'm not sure. Does anyone have any info on this issue. I don't want to sell the carb to him if he can't use it. Thanks Scott

Save for FCRS. The edelbrock works fine on stock engines but wont feed enough on even a 660 if its well built (lots of engine mods)

Duncan can modify the edelbrock and uses it to feed their 727 kits. Of course Duncan isn't exactly known for it's fast raptors, but if someone is really hung up on the edelbrock it's something to look at.

Raptor010, he can use it and he might see low and maybe even midrange gains but it'll choke on top. If he's got a stump puller tuning setup then it's not out of the question.

As scholle said the fcr setup is the way to go but maybe this guy is looking at another option for half the price. I'd give him the lowdown on it and let him make up his own mind.
