Default Kodiak Headlights

I have tried them a little bit on a ride today, left them on a couple of hours of riding around the trails behind my house. There seem to be no problem with high heat or any electrical problems such as wiring or the plastic grill. They acutually seem cooler than the stock ones? As for the three wires, I used the black for the ground and the yellow lead for the power. The green wire I just cut and taped the end up, it is only energized if the switch is left in the low light position, so either shut them off or on the high beam setting. You could use either wire, they are exactly the same guage, just guessed on mine and it was the high beem wire. The performance of them is much better and doesn't seem to drain the battery or charging system in any way, such as dimming at low idle etc.

Cool, I think you will like them. Hey squeege, are those 10" wide front on your Kodiak, or 12" wide? They look really wide, just wondering...Bruce

Maybe we could figure out how to retrofit a Grizzly EPS on to the Kodiak? I wish. It took some gettin' used to with the wider front tires. Almost crashed a couple of times unil I got used to the wider track going thru fast, tight trails. Really llike the wider tires/rims for the stability, big improvement over stock. Where did you buy your overfenders? I saw some on Ebay for just over $100, might look at buying some in the future.
