I picked up a 1973 Yamaha DT 80 today for free the one thing it is missing is a coil. Now finding a coil for this bike is very hard since it is so old. I was wondering.. Will a coil out of any other bike,quad,or snowmobile work? Or does it have to be one specifically made for that bike? One guy told me he used a coil out of a chevy on his older DT but I dont know if that is true or not. Thanks in advance
